The Cars

  1. The Chryslers are over seventy years old, the Marcos is over fifty years old, and although regularly serviced and maintained, there is a very small chance that something might go wrong on the day. In the event of any breakdown, the chauffeur will telephone your primary contact to explain what can be done to recover the situation. If the car can be fixed or a replacement vehicle is available and can be supplied in time, then that will be done. In the event that no replacement is available, or the broken down car cannot be fixed promptly, a full refund will be provided. The limit of our liability in all circumstances will be the amount actually paid and we will not be liable for any consequential loss. With the slight risk of any classic car of this age breaking down, it is wise for a friend of the wedding party or family member to be nominated and briefed beforehand so that they can provide their own car as emergency backup on the day.

  2. In addition to the chauffeur, the maximum number of passengers that can comfortably be carried at any time is limited to four in the Sedan, and three in the Convertible or one in the Marcos. Note that as is typical of cars of the 1940’s, no seat belts are fitted in the Chryslers. For legal reasons, children under the age of three cannot be carried.

  3. There is a strict No-Smoking policy inside the cars. This includes the use of tobacco substitutes and E-Cigarettes.


Your Party

We maintain the right to refuse entry to the vehicle(s) if in our sole discretion we deem that a passenger is unfit to travel for any reason. In the event of this occurring, no refund will be made. No drinks may be consumed in the vehicle(s).

You are responsible for any internal or external damage to the vehicle caused by the wedding party or guests. A minimum charge of £100 will be applied to cover valet costs should fouling be caused by any passenger through food, drink or illness.

The chauffeur will offer assistance to those wearing flowing gowns or trains when entering or exiting the car but you are responsible for ensuring that clothing is not damaged or marked by any area of the car that could be dirty, such as the underside, wheels etc.


General

These terms and conditions plus the written event confirmation are the entire agreement between us. No variations are permitted unless in writing and agreed by both parties.

Our total liability under this agreement is limited to the amount actually paid by you. In no event will we be liable for any direct or indirect consequential losses, delays or missed appointments or events.

We will not accept any responsibility for any loss or damage to your property or clothing or that of your guests.

The itinerary as agreed in writing on the event confirmation defines the only journeys that will be undertaken. If additional journeys are requested on the day and are agreed by the chauffeur, additional charges may be applied and must be paid for in advance at the time.

We may take photographs at weddings and publish them in literature, on social media or on our website for promotional purposes. If you do not wish such images to be used please make us aware of this in writing.

In these Terms & Conditions, “We, us, our” refers to Westbrook Wedding Cars. “You, your” refers to the Hirer named on the written event confirmation.

By making a booking request you will be deemed to have read, understood and accepted the above terms and conditions.
